Sara Bizzoca graduated from Folkwang University of Arts in Essen, Germany, in 2009, under Lutz Forster, Malou Airaudo,Dominique Mercy and choreographer Rodolpho Leoni. From 2006 to 2010 Sara worked with the choreographer Fang-Yu Shen and In 2010 she took part in a show by Bianca Sere Pulungan called “White Lies” (Rhubhune Theater Essen). In 2011 she created her first show “Zap-ping” which was performed in the festivals “Danzarte” (La Tana Barletta) and “Oriente- Occidente ” (Rovereto). Since 2009, Sara has worked with “Koreoproject” (a company directed by Giorgia Maddamma) where she danced in “Nina”, “Trilogy’s Journey” , “Apulie Art Festival”. In July 2011 she took part in the project PLOTS with the performance “The Passion of the Trojan Women”, directed by Giorgia Maddamma and Salvatore Tramacere. In June 2012, together with “Koreoproject”, she presented “Piaf and Marlene” at the second edition of “Azioni in Danza”. From 2014 participates with the solo “La vie mecanique” at the Festival “180°” (Sofia), while in 2015 choreographer of the production “8 reflection in a party that never took place”.
She is currently works in “the Ugly duckling” with the Teatro dei Borgia. In 2015 creates “Crash” a Koreoproject ‘s production In February 2016 collaborates with Penny Chivas getting a residency at “the Work room” (Glasgow) “Decline”. Selected In “DaDa” young choreographers showcase (Teramo) with The coreographie “Na Diander” in collaboration with Elizabeth Bonfá.
