Nelken Line

The “Nelken Line” is a project of the Pina Bausch Foundation: “Dance! The Nelken Line ”, which invites to stage the choreography and the music taken from the famous stuck“ Nelken ”.

Groups from all over the world have created the Nelken Line, crossing different landscapes, repeating the movements of the “Dance of the Seasons”, on the notes of the famous song “West End Blues” by Louis Armstrong & His Hot Five. The “lines” are a recurring and characteristic element in many of the pieces by Pina Bausch, sequences of movements with repetitive steps and gestures that the dancers perform standing in a long queue, often crossing the lines of the audience and emotionally involving him with their smiles.

Koreoproject organized the Nelken Line with the rights of the Pina Bausch Foundation, during the VII edition of Uni-Tanz Dance Campus, in 2019. All participants of the campus took part of the line reconstructed and led by the ex Bausch’s dancer Marigia Maggipinto . Many other famous Italian and international artists took part of it in the historical center of Lecce.

Ksot Atene

Gli studenti del terzo anno della Scuola Nazionale di danza Ksot di Atene hanno ballato “On en rit encore”, aprendo la performance “ricordami… 30 e 31 ottobre al Music Hall. Una coreografia di Giorgia Maddamma, in cui la libertà, il sogno e il desiderio, rimasti soppressi da tempo, “scomparsi” dal veicolo del corpo umano, offrendo al pubblico un momento danzante con “tempo” di ottimismo.
